as a single species,
with a common prehistoric origin?
Or do we need more proof?
Do we need Homo sapiens bones
dug from the African soil
to prove our shared origin?
Do we need a single genetic code
bound in tightly wound coils of DNA
to tell us we are one species?
What must occur before we believe
the truth
that myths, holy books, and science proclaim …
