SELF ABUSE
SELF ABUSE

What I do, I do to me,
To this I’m entitled.
Let no one tell me that what
I do is unbridled?

Shall I deny to myself
A pleasure so harmless?
It concerns only me and
Others, does not oppress.

Why others are so keen that
I uphold their morals?
Let them watch their own step if
They want to be nobles.

Why should they transmit their sense
Of guilt to me and ask,
That I too feel guilty and
Wear a puritan mask?

No, moral leaders, no I
Shall not let you intrude
Into my private life, though
You deem it turpitude.

I am free to use myself,
For so called self-abuse,
It’s my own body, for this
I do not owe an excuse!
