HEAVENLY BLISS When I am free from this world And cast mortal raiment, If I reach the heaven’s gate, There may be a moment, When my anxious eyes do spy My old love I had lost, Warmth of whose love had given Way in my heart to frost. She would cast a glance at me, Loving, shy, hesitant. I would feel inside my heart Sorry and repentant. I did ignore her feelings Throughout our married life. I could not find time for her Amidst domestic strife. Maybe in such a moment, Which would be so precious, We won’t have time or mood to Harbour any thoughts such. We shall just hold each other And exchange a sweet kiss. In that silent moment we Shall have a lasting bliss. * Written in 7-6-7-6, abcb format. • REQUEST—While reviewing, please copy and paste the following in your review: This is a review for “entry:469243".
