The mention of soap making conjures up visions of unpleasant lard and dangerous lye but that isnt the case anymore.
Since the development of Melt and Pour soap base about 10 years ago soapmaking can be a fun and creative project for the whole family. Using the Melt and Pour method of soap making you simply melt down already made soap bricks, add color and fragrance if you want and pour into molds to make new soap.
Let it harden for a few hours, pop it out of the mold and it is ready to use.
A little bit of premade soap base, a microwave and a mold are all you really need to make a bar of soap.
Fragrances, colors, and additives can be used alone or in cimbination with one another to make your soap uniquiley yours.
Molda re available in many shapes ranging from the plain square or rectangle bar to elaboratley detailed shapes.
Bases
Premade Melt and Pour soap base can be purchased in 2 # trays or in 24 # logs.
The 2 # trays are a little more expensive
