Freezin' Balls!

It's been colder than a witch's tit here in Central Texas. We had an ice storm and everything shut down for about 5 days. I love that we, Texans, don't function well during inclement weather. Texans will be the first to shut down and close up if we even hear the words ice, sleet, or snow mentioned. I get paid to hole up in my house with my man. What more could I ask for?

Yesterday, as things were starting to thaw out, was the most dangerous. We had falling ice and trees! One of our trees fell and blocked the road. Living in the pine forest is quite hazardous during the big thaw. Let's give it a couple of weeks for the green to turn to brown and then we'll have us an old fashion bonfire. I will have a sign up list for food. Marsh mellows will be provided.
