Fashion Victim, or Perpetrator of a Fashion Crime?
Response to "Invalid Entry by Holly Jahangiri for "Invalid Item"   by A Guest Visitor

Wearing a black leather Harley-Davidson logo baseball type cap with every outfit I have IS NOT A CRIME. Neither does it make me a victim. It is an expression of my individuality.

In addition, to communicating my uniqueness, it’s a demonstration of my patriotism. Harley-Davidson is an American corporation, true it is going international and selling Harleys all over the world, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t still an American company. In World War I and II the U.S. military used Harley-Davidson motor cycles. Police departments, in American cities, used Harleys. In addition, some Highway Patrol departments use them.

When I wear my Harley cap, I’m expressing both my patriotism and my individuality at the same time. Therefore, I wear my cap with every piece of clothing I have. I know I said “outfit” earlier, but I wouldn’t call my collection of clothing coming even close to an “outfit” of any kind. I know that I have slacks and skirts that go with a specific blouse or suite jacket. The problem is I can’t remember which suite jacket goes with which skirt or pair of slacks.

Besides, when I gain weight I gain it all over my body. When I lose weight I never lose it in my breast. True, at sixty, the twins sag a lot more, but they are no smaller. Because of either the sag or the size, I have one or two slacks or skirts without blouses or suite jackets. I can still wear the bottoms, but not the tops. Therefore, rather than give up a pair of slacks I like and can wear; I keep the bottoms and put the tops in a dresser drawer or give them to my mother.
