MY FIRST CRUSH: a sonnet No, I just cannot forget my first crush, When I grew out of childhood into teens; When with another heart I had a brush, My heart had got broken to smithereens. What lofty dreams I had at that young age! Nothing else in those days I thought about. What blessing that short lived was this my craze! Futility of this I soon found out. But this I must admit that my first crush, Despite the fact that my hair is now gray, Does still make me in a mild manner blush, When I’m lost in old memories someday. Though about it I don’t have a regret, It’s true that my first love I can’t forget. ' REQUEST'While reviewing, please copy and paste the following in your review: This is a review for 'entry:485190".
