Happy President's Day!

After careful exploration of this way-cool website, I've decided to try and come up with some written pieces for it so as to get myself published somewhere.

I'm looking for off-the-beaten-path places of interest; restaurants, museums, things to do, cool shops, even just interesting houses or buildings of interest.

So far, I think I'll give Knit Happens a call and see if I can't do an interesting little piece on them. I love that store!

On the kntiting front, I've finished the pumkin hat and am starting a white one with little baby chicks on it. I'm on a roll. I discovered I had mis-ordered the rest of the yarn I needed for Pruitt's sweater. I'm hoping that I can still exhcnage it for the correct stuff. I'm sure I can - I just have to make the call today.
