Pretty good day until about 4pm when I was called to go get Joe from school. He was pitching a fit and I had to go get him. I got him, brought him home, and put him on the lawnmower. I decided to let him sweat his frustrations away.
Same old story, different version. Some kid was bothering him and instead of saying "please stop" and asking an adult for help when they didn't, he just threw a screaming, crying fit. We begin occupational therapy next week. Maybe they will help get that message delivered. It frustrates me that he just can't or won't learn this lesson. He keeps making the same mistakes over and over and getting punished over and over. Sooner or later he'll figure it out. Punishment sucks. I just hope he gets this in his head before I go completely grey!!!
