March 17th Prompt: Sports Fan

Symphony Of The Athletic Aficionado

As I walked into the expanse
My eyes drank in the scene
A spectrum of colors
Whites, yellows and greens

Pennants gripped by the crowd
Conductors of a symphony
Moving as if to an unheard song
Swaying; reminiscent of a tree

Differing moments of the crescendo
The crowds perform a wave
Colors move like synchronized swimmers
Or as dancers during a rave

At peak times in the concerto
Expressions can be heard
Piercing through the harmony
As the victory call of a bird

At the ending of the concerto
Colors flood over the expanse
Bobbing, weaving, and moving
A final staccato of their dance.


Note: I am a Packers fan, hence the colors of white, yellow and green :)
