I went to the doc today about my ear infection. I got some rx drops for my ear. It really hurt when
he used the otoscope. Said he couldn't see the
eardrum because I had a big goober of wax in there, (EW!) so they had to remove that, which wasn't pleasant, but had to be done. The infection is in the canal of the ear, not the middle ear, which explains why there has been no vertigo, which is common with middle and inner ear infections. All in all, it was a good thing I finally went.
Got a shorter cast, exrays look good. Staples are now
out, thank God and all that's holy.
Since my day was pretty much shot, I picked Joe up
early as I was concerned about him. Joe wasn't
feeling well this am. Throat sore, but no white
pockets to indicate strep, no fever, so no reason to
keep him out of school. He's trying to nap in my
bedroom now. He never naps unless he's feeling really
bad.
