Take a trip with me

Follow the winding road
and see the many sights
You’ll see the grand port
Of where flipside writes

A tall tree that has seen
The dawn of countless days
A jilted lover who is
Dealing with a crazy phase

The eccentric storyteller
Who speaks of a river
The angel with no face
Will make you shiver

And memories of dad
Is a true story
Wilderness uncontained
An animal’s glory

There are colorful images
For you to adore
With each passing day
Brings so much more

As you finally reach the end
Of the twisting, vivid road
Rest your poor weary feet
Set down your heavy load

Come back and visit often
Have some coffee, share a tip
And thank you for perusing
