This is my book of poetry that I hope to eventually publish with photos. |
Emotional Uproar of Love As he climbed into the machine, Letter to his girlfriend in his hand. Trying to grasp, The musical triangle of love. As he goes through the woods, Traveling the unending quest for a chance, To encounter the emotional uproar of love. NOTE: In junior high, we were given seven phrases with which to pick from and use one in a poem. The above poem is the combination of the phrases given to me. The poem below is the one I wrote using the one phrase chosen, which is in bold. The Questions of Love He walked up the long drive, Letter to his girlfriend in his hand. No matter how hard he tried, He could not understand. She had power over him, Something only love can do, And nobody can understand, What he's going through. Nobody knows why love turns worse, And why they have to say good-bye. All they know is that it hurts, And they only want to cry. The tears roll down her face, As she watches him walk down the drive. She thinks of all the flowers and lace, And with a tear in her eye she knows they tried. The questions of love are confusing, You never know if you might be losing, Your only true love, your only trust. But you do what you must, Because love can be confusing. |
