More About Me
more about me

dad always told me
i should be proud of who i am

for once in my life, i believe him

for once in my life, i realize where i come from
for once in my life, i realize who i am

finally, i make them proud

finally, i learn to respect me
finally, i feel worth it all

dad was right about me

dad was right that i'm smart
dad was right that i'm talented

but i'm still humble

but i still recognize goodness in others
but i still see my own faults

but now i don't dwell on them

but now i don't just lay in my room alone all the time
but now i realize time is precious

i am sorry i didn't spend more it with him

i am heartbroken he's gone
i am trying to adjust to change

i'll always be learning.
