Where to begin; where to end
I didn't get to visit Robert but about five minutes last night and not at all today. Bob made a flying trip down to help haul the sofa and bed out of the house and help start disinfecting the place. He arrived at his brother's house very late Thursday night, worked twelve hours Friday, and worked another four hours today before he had to leave. Randy, Janelle, and their three boys worked all day yesterday and today. Janelle's mother, a very close friend, helped Thursday, too. We are all very tired, and the house is, well, it's a mess but a clean, sanitary mess. Randy and family will be returning to help put things back in place after the carpet dries. Yes, we even shampooed the carpet.

Robert has hours when he does fairly well, and then he has hours when he doesn't do well at all. He enjoys company, but he sometimes just dozes off while trying to visit. His heart condition troubles me. From time to time, blood pools in the bottom part as the top part just quivers. If a clot breaks off from the pooled blood, he would have a stroke, as my mother did eleven years ago.

All right, Lord, we're getting the pouring rain. When will the rainbow appear?
