Texas is tornadoes,
And cactus-covered land.

Texas is the cattle,
And fences built by hand.

Texas is the rain,
And gale-force wind.

Texas is the night,
And stars that never end.

Texas is the heat.
And dry cracking clay.

Texas is a campfire,
And songs at end of day.

Texas is pine-trees,
And bluebonnets in the spring.

Texas is my home,
And bits of everything.
