If you don't have a dream, how are you going to make a dream come true?

NaNo Day One
They say it's best to start just after midnight, but for two years in a row now, I've fallen asleep before midnight.

I did, however, wake pretty early, and managed to write nearly 300 words during my morning coffee.

I very much enjoyed this week's pep talk, written by one of my top three writers, Tom Robbins. He gave some really great advice and motivated me to begin writing.

Last year I definitely had more of a plan. I had chapter ideas, and a rough outline. This year... not so much. But I think one of the most important things is to just sit down and start writing. I had no idea how to start this morning, but I just sat down and started typing. It worked.

Word Count so far: 335
(Hey, it's early! I've got plenty of time!) *Laugh*
