I Thought I Had More Time
Mom called this morning.

Papaw passed away.

It was sooner than I thought it would be. She told me to visit as much as I could because it was getting close and I didn't. I didn't visit him once. I am an ass. I just thought I had more time.

I work in a nursing home. I should know better.
