Superman's Dead
* May. 26th, 2007 at 11:21 PM

It is done. Before it even began, it is done.
An invitation, officially broken with lies.
Thank goodness for friends.
Two of my friends who attended an important event last night witnessed a certain man's presence both there and at the after party and had the decency to tell me.
An event to which he invited me a few months ago but then claimed he would not be attending due to having to work, supposedly at a restaurant and with the military.
Lying bastard.
He went nowhere near work last night.
He was at the location of the event all night and an after-party afterwards.
I'm not surprised I did not end up going because he never brought it up after excusing himself from the event in its entirety.
But it still hurts that he would lie about it.
Is it that much torture to be around me?
Am I not a good friend?
Am I not good enough? Not pretty enough? Not entertaining enough?
Am I just someone to hang around with as a last resort?

What am I?

I wish I knew.

Luckily despite last night's guess written in that day's blog, I did not end up dining alone with a bowl of Kraft Dinner. I did indeed attend the family bbq which basically had most of my mom's side in attendance, including Uncle Alf and Ron who just flew in from Florida. Ade and her boy are back together again, paternity test still pending. Johnny is still my most annoying cousin ever. Emma is adorable and I love her to death. I love my family, thank goodness for them *Heart*
