Finally being voted on! One has 15 votes, the other 11. Any guess which pet is winning?

Quiver

No two entities vibrate the same.
We quiver to the plus and minuses of our own dreams.
Yet, were I to cut my heart-strings one-by-one,
your voice would wail throughout this void.

And were I to stand on some rain drenched beach
toes caressing sand, your skin would feel wet grains.
Or were I to become a later day Shadrack,
throw myself into a furnace of denial,
you would drain a flood of reassuring smiles.

Yet we would be no closer than we were yesterday,
a million moments and two galaxies away.

Things Skandihoovian were on my mind as I was perusing a book on homesteads on Norway. I want a box bed (cupboard bed)! Have wanted one for years actually. I could hang up a heavy curtain in the wintertime and a light lightblocking one in the summer. It's like sleeping in a closet! Cozy and private.

I wrote over 5 pages in my journal yesterday. I'm over 1,500 pages now. When someone's death unnerves me, I write. (Thank-you, Heath)

Short entry today, because I really need to eat, get downtown to the post office. Being attached to this computer will not get the work done!

Kansas: 7º and sunny. The low was -2º. I kid you not.
