Why, Cupid?

I've never written a "real" love story. I've never really attempted to write a love poem. Ok, in middle school, when I was stupid and naive, I wrote stupid little "Oh your eyes are as blue as the sky and my heart aches" crap.

So, this month, I'm going to enter that "Quoatation" contest...the quote?

The course of love never did run smooth, or something.

As soon as I read it, these characters came to life. Harold and Jasnia. One avergae, caring and loving, the other adventerous, paranoid and...well...frankly a slut who will sleep with customers and random guys and doesn't know why.

What will come out of putting these two together? and making them last a year? God knows what....
