Five flowers White gladioli ascend from death, in rows and rows in the widower's garden. Yellow lotus, toes in muck, rise above the surface tension, soar above the floating weedy duck. Angel trumpets, hummermoth's delight, poison spent, drooping at dawn's light. Five petaled scarlet pimpernell, hugs the ground to delight a child that crawls. Forget me, Forget-me-not, Forget me. No! Forget me not. He was injured in a car accident. Later, got to know homeless folk that collected bottles. Neat that he was able to connect and then go forward with a film. I came across this while looking for information on line about a young man who recently suffered injury during a snow-boarding accident. He's currently in ICU and the brain scans have not been positive. I'm on edge because I may know the family, although I don't know him. Updated 2/22.
