Thistle As soft as the down on a young lad's cheeks. As prickly as what stiffens beneath his sporan. Kåre Enga 2008 [164.518d] 2008-02-19 Yes, yesterday's sketch and this one were inspired by katherine76's flowers! I was thinking how she didn't have the Scot's emblem. I don't think she offers the Swedish twin-flower either. Awesome that our WDC friend, Susan, thought of Katherine's flowers and made that connection. Not bad ... but I had a 10:00 appointment! I made my 12:00 appt. on time. Even after I had gone home for a pork patty sandwich and took a bath and grabbed my stuff. Tomorrow's event in Topeka is cancelled. Which means I still need to hurry up and do some things; but, I don't have to do it all today ... Susannah just gave me a polished river rock to remind me to be thankful for everything, all the good times AND bad. It is bitter cold outside. Beautiful, crystal clear and bone chilling. Not a day to be gadding about. Jessica sent me a photo of her and her hubby! (And I figured how to download it!!)
