Leap Day = 5th Day of Ayyam-i-Ha; photos of MT
Kansas: 70 degrees! Sunny and breezy!!
How y'all like them apples? Today was a day to go fly a kite. Very windy. Blew my shirt and pants off the line, leaving it naked. Ayyam-i-Ha
... is a time for giving gifts among other things. This year there were 5 days instead of 4. So yesterday was Leap Day on the Western calendar. Today was Leap Day for the Baha'is. Now past sunset it is the 1st day of Loftiness, the month of Fasting.
Folks here in Kansas seemed to appreciate getting a copy of my recent poetry. Always hard to tell when people are being polite; but, Rocio really liked "Moon follows sun" and others seemed genuinely delighted. MONTANA
I am too tired to write a travel log of my last trip to Montana, but I downloaded quite a few photos. The sun did come out while I was there, but not often!
A picture from the north end zone during the UM - Wofford game:
These are 2 of the 3 places I hung out:
I know there are a lot of Griz in MT but this photo of a mounted ram reminded me of Nada's water buffalo and turned out well:
As did this photo of A Carousel for Missoula:
On the bus trip home I managed to catch this along I-70 in Western Colorado:
So ... there are more, but that will have to wait for another time. I need to go back soon.
