Life is good.

For some reason I seem to be the happiest now than I have ever been. I might have had a severe case of Seasonal Effective Disorder (though I'm unsure whether I actually have that condition or not). Anyway, I was running around the park last week, listening to some music and all of a sudden it just happened. I can pinpoint the exact moment. It was surreal. Sure, my life's not perfect but it doesn't have to be.

So I've written a new story for the Mythical Creatures Contest. It's a bit different than my usual stuff (if you can call two pieces so far "usual"). I like it but I think it also needs a little tweaking. It's actually something I'd come up with probably back in high school but executed it rather poorly. I think I'd intended it to be a much longer story but it went nowhere. So I was merciful and cut it very short this time around.
