Drop by drop the snow pack dies, watering the arid lands below. |
Idál (Justice), 8 Asma (Names), 165 B.E. – Wednesday, August 27, 2008 about 6:36 PM Pacific Time This has been an interesting week. I am back to work and working five hours a day. Monday the city repaved the street in front of our house, so I had to park on Bruce (a side street) overnight. It also rained on Monday and I had the dry heaves again. I am beginning to think that something I am eating is causing me problems. On Tuesday I had a new taste experience, ate a hand full of chocolate covered coffee beans from Costa Rica. Today at work I got to play with a rain stick from Costa Rica. When you turn the rain stick, it sounds just like rain. Mom had an appointment with the dentist on Tuesday she had a tooth filled. I changed my dental appointment from Friday, August 29 to Monday, September 8 and to an office closer to home, mom's next appointment in on September 8 right after mine. We are seeing the same dentist and at the same office now. So I do not have to make two different trips to two different offices a real gas saver. I changed my appointment to donate blood from today to Monday, September 1. It seems that the only time united blood services are closed is on Christmas Day. I may have put that in an earlier blog entry. I am one of the poets reading on Women's Poetry Night, in September. I will post the date later when I post the names of the poems I am goling to read. I have ten minutes to read so I need to practice the poems and check my time. It should be interesting because I do not have a working watch and only one working clock in the house, besides the one on the computer. |
