Did it work?

I don't know. I'm not sure. I kind of feel like it might be working, but I don't feel any better, in general, than I did before the shot, plus there's the discomfort of the shot itself. I was in absolute agony afterward, but this morning I was able to get up and walk around without collapsing to the floor in pain - which is what I've done almost every morning. Still, I've gone most of the day without too much discomfort.

And it feels like maybe sensation is trying to return to the numb areas of my right leg. So maybe it's doing something.

I don't want to get all hopeful about it, though. That's a good way for me to be crushed. I'd rather figure it won't work, and maybe be pleasantly surprised.

I know the experience is not one I'd like to go through again.

But I don't know what else I can do, at this point, besides surgery.
