Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills. |
Call me Walt not Joyce I think that I shall never be a Kilmer stoic as a tree. I swear I'm more like Whitman's ass, pushing up bent leaves of grass. © 2008 Kåre Enga [165.281d] 2008-09-27 I am so not in the mood to type in a long poetic sketch. FOOTBALL: Griz win 38-35 ... bearly. It's like this: Big Sky gets one automatic seed in the playoffs and usually one other. Montana is due for an off year and their kicking game has been suspect. Losing to Division 2 Central Washington would've been difficult to overcome if they didn't win the Big Sky. They go to Weber State next week, a team that apparently is improved. I did have a good time talking to Audrey from Floweree. She's a wheat farmer and only came because it had rained and it's better to wait to sow. ME: I did sleep better last night now that I have a futon and had a fairly good day today. Cooked a quesadilla of yellow brandywine tomato (and bought another), feta and gouda cheese. Then fried up some polenta. I finally figured out where Am-Vets bar is, but only stayed until midnight as a friend didn't show. Saw 3 old neighbors of mine though. Blogville Answer to Rainbowapple : I think some folks are blogged out. Rather than fold tents though they should consider blogging once-a-week. It IS a lot of time and effort. I've tried to cut back to no avail, but then, I don't have a job so writing and blogging and getting out of the house is as good as it gets. I choose to not totally fold up and close down. But, others have busy lives that intervene. I hates it when folks disappear. Blogville can be a supportive community. I've seen it, experienced it. If this site were more friendly to outsiders leaving comments it might help. But that would also open us all up to the nastiness experienced elsewhere on the internet. Montana: 47º at 01:00. 8129 |
