If you think you fail, fail gloriously -Anonymous- I suppose if you’re going to fail, you may as well go out in a blaze of glory like a supernova. It makes absolutely no sense to do anything without enthusiasm. If approach any job, whether you enjoy it or not, with enthusiasm, then you are going to accomplish something, even if it is only failure. However, in accomplishing that failure you are going to learn something about yourself and humanity. That said, I would like to know why God always sends me these little messages when I’m on the verge of giving up and throwing in the towel. I recently restarted a project that I’ve been attempting to do the last two years and failing “gloriously” at completing. This time around, I decided to narrow the scope and focus on one week of goals at a time. Today was an especially difficult day for both my mother and me. I spent the entire morning on the Citizens Area Transit bus going to pick up food at a food bank and bring it back home. I finally got back home even with a bent wheel on the cart I carried the food in. When I got home, I ate two cheese sandwiches and laid down for a nap. My mother stayed home, but the next time I go I’m taking my mother with me. Her days are much better is she doesn’t stay in the house all the time. Anyway, I’m going to continue the project and this time I’m going to complete it or encounter an even more glorious failure.
