Exploring the future through the present. One day at a time. |
Help! I'm blind! I log into wdc, and it's . . . WHITE! I know what you're thinking. "Didn't you get the memo?" Funny how we get used to things. I knew since the announcement WDC planned to go white today. Still, the moment I logged on, my eyes blinked in shock. Though I didn't care for the yellow, I expected it. It's almost like the smell you subconsciously anticipate when walking into Grandma's house. When it's not there, you have to take a step back and think, "What happened in here?" I'm at work and don't want to be. My little guy has another cold. Since yesterday both Dave and I have to follow him around with a snot rag, otherwise he'd leave a slimy trail behind him. Thomas isn't happy about it, either. He is learning how to use the stairs now. He can crawl up them with no help. Going down, he needs someone to hold his hand. There's a door blocking the stairs, so we don't have to worry about him trying on his own. Yet. The moment he figures how to use a doorknob, all that will change. No walking yet. I think it's because he's so tall and skinny. Unlike short and stout toddlers, he's having trouble finding his center of gravity. It's like trying to keep a pencil standing verses a coffee mug. Although he can stand on his own for 10-15 seconds at a time. Hope you all have a terrific Monday. |
