Things to check before e-filing your taxes

I e-filed my taxes yesterday. The software I used said I should print and review a hard copy of the form. I reviewed it, I just wasn't able to print it so I saved the pdf to the hard drive. As soon as I'm able to print I'll print a copy of it off.

All right, this is my own fault. For sometime now my printer has been acting weird. Now it won't print at all. I think the problem is the ink cartridges, they have no more ink in them. At least, I hope that's the problem because if it's something else, I'm going to have to take it in somewhere and have it fixed. I suppose I could have someone come to the house, there are techs that do house calls and fix computer problems.

Next year I check to make sure the printer is working properly before I e-file my taxes. Next year I won't wait until April 15 to file. I know better then to wait until the last minute for anything because that's when something is going to go wrong. Since I'm not going to be able to print anything for a while, I'm going to back up my documents on CDs this weekend.
