I'm in Sioux Falls ... a typical American blah-blah sprawl. No access to nothing. But at least the day is pleasant.
Traveled with guys who spoke Spanish and little English. Met Amish in KC on the way home to Kentucky. Bus was not full, but I slept very little. And twice we had to pull over because a sensor was screaming at us. No prob though. Dawn on the flatlands of Iowa is awesome. We even traveled a bit along Iowa Hwy 2, one of my favorite roads.
I'll be home tomorrow morning.
I wrote a postcard puzzle for a friend. The kids will have to put it together first though to read it. No post office here to mail anything.
Will the weather hold so I can glimpse the Black Hills?
Images: dark grey clouds, downdrafts of rain, edge of the storm; red winged blackbird in a haze of white blossoms; haze of dust on the horizon; black wet soil; straight lines of the highway.
