be delicious

Third day of new job. New beginnings, new responsibilities, fresh slate, et cetera.

I chose a fragrance for myself. DKNY's "be delicious." I smell like a delicious apple, and like a flower, and not the least bit like fear or anxiety. Justin, being on the West Coast at the time, has not yet smelled how delicious I smell, but he will.

I wore suits on Monday and Tuesday, and, today, a darted shirt from Ann Taylor (sage), a lightly textured wool skirt (charcoal) and my suede Nine West pumps (red). A single color, a single pattern, varying fabric weights and a pop of contrasting color. I hope I did not get this all wrong. I have exactly ten weeks to make an impression good enough that the law firm wants to hire me for keeps.
