I missed a slew of titles yesterday that I thought I could write with minimal research, but I waited too long. They were gone in about eight hours. Work for fifteen minutes on "Poor Witch" [E] every day. Goal met. I edited through Chapter 2. Have I mentioned? There are 31 chapters, at least, pre-edit. I've started thinking about my NaNo project for this year, too, and y'all should do the same! In just three little months I'll be promoting "October Novel Prep Challenge" [13+], so you'll want to know which brilliant plot concept you'll be focusing on this year. I may give Andromeda Sings another go, and try to do the Prep activities myself this year. I can do it if I delegate the contest round judging. Complete and edit "Poor Witch" [E] by 6/30/09. In progress! And if I want to work on a new NaNo project this year, I need to get Poor Witch done on time. Read a book in print for fifteen minutes every day. Goal met. Still reading Midnight Hours by Vivian . The suspense is sucking me in. A very good whodunit. Resign from Abbott by 12/1/09. In progress, though I have a tentative Plan B that takes me through March, using all my vacation time to take off full days on Tuesday instead of the half days I'm taking now. It's not necessary for me to afford to leave, but it gives me a nicer cushion. Nice cushions are good for things like entrepreneurial investment opportunities. I figure I'll decide around 12/1/09 if I want to stick it out a couple more months. *looks up at the entry title* Is it Tuesday already? I only work a half day at Abbott today. Ah, bliss. ASIDE: The birds are still going after the cat food, which I set on the deck, and that means the birds are crawling over my deck and pergola. That might be nice for bird watching, except they shit all over the decking and furniture. *kicks* |
