Broken camera... but found a cheap place to stay!

Good news, bad news.

Good: I found a place in Turrialba for ¢4.000 (about $7). It's not great, but the fan works and I'm not here to coddle myself.

I'm checking off my list of foods I wanted to eat. Had a cebada (barley drink).

So-so: Mandy asks about how it feels after so many years...

Strange and not strange. I've only had a couple flashbacks. Mostly I don't remember. Which puzzles me.

I could give some very personal details about this trip, but this is not the blog for that! Let me just say that when I came here as a student I was struggling with personal issues. When I returned this time, those issues were no longer issues.

I've visited Orosí, SJ, Cartago and now Turrialba. I'll only be able to visit a couple more places as I'll need to be in Alajuela Tuesday morning to catch my flight back. I will return.

Bad: Camera broke. Can't see the pictures... so, I'll just point and shoot and when I return I'll download and have some surprizes.

I have misplaced 2 pair of underwear and my other pair of pants. If I can't find them... I'll do without. I'm also having bouts of forgetfulness and anxiety.

In other news... it took 93 minutes to get here by bus. The road winds through the mountains and there is NO way I could drive it. I am a flatlander and have no nerves for blind corners, edges, drop-offs and heights. It was 28 degrees C on the bus. I am sweating today.
