Today doesn’t seem like Friday

Today doesn't seem like Friday,
it feels more like Thursday or Saturday,
but it doesn't feel like Friday.

I feel like I have more to do,
I feel like there is something I've left undone,
I'm not sure what it is;
I just know I have more to day
and today doesn't feel like Friday.

Perhaps it feels like Monday or Wednesday,
but not Friday;
this happens once in a while,
maybe once every six months or so,
today just doesn't feel like Friday.

Maybe I don't want this week to end,
maybe it's because the year is on the down hill slope,
I don't know why today doesn't feel like Friday;
it just doesn't feel like Friday.

This morning I thought it was Thursday,
this afternoon I'm thinking it's Saturday,
but it's Friday
next to the last day of the week
and it doesn't seem like Friday.
