A Song Running through my mind
Jalál (Glory), 8 Kamál (Perfection), 166 BE – Saturday, August 8, 2009 about 7:01 PM Pacific Time
"Where there’s marriage without love, there will be love without marriage."
Benjamin Franklin
That quote brought to mind a song I heard a long time ago. I think I first heard the song at my grandparents house on their record player. The song goes something like this:
"Love and marriage, love and marriage,
Go together like a horse and carriage,
Let me tell you, brother,
You can't have one without the other."
It's amazing what interesting memories quotes bring to mind. I thought I had forgotten that song until I read the Benjamin Franklin quote. Things like this make me wonder how the mind works because I wouldn't have thought of that song if I hadn't read the quote. Now I can't get the song out of my mind. I don't know if there were any more lines to the song or not. Perhaps I should do an Internet search to find out. I do know that song was the theme for the set-com Married with Children.
