A Busy Morning

It's been a busy morning and I got up late. I didn't get up until about 6:30, took my thyroid meds and carried the trash to the curb. I didn't get to bed until after midnight this morning and I have no idea when I got to sleep. I completed two poems this morning which brings my poem count for the month past 59.

One of the poems contained lyrics for a country song. I posted that to a contest on site. The other was a Fable about a cat, a nightingale and a rose. I posted that to another contest on writing.com. That poem I've been working on for a couple of days.

I have a short story and a poem to finish for contests both on writing.com. I also have a poem to write for the Writers' Cramp prompt. I thought about writing an essay for today's prompt, but decided to take the poetic approach. I may change my mind later today. I still have to check my bank account plus two blog entries. However, it's been at least an hour since I took my thyroid meds, so I think I'll go eat something before doing anything else on-line.
