Brambling Beech

by a brambling beech
taken to lower leaves
sap stem
marbled life
a scenic guess
how people live in trees
write a song
certain many songs
from life
played back would
stand as hours
south whirl
friends' kids line up
to see the display
ever saw the fourth hour
when familes in a house
in love tell them
how to play the lirads
tap to hold the crowds
good question
but miss the rest
don't the branches rest
anymore not a note.
