Taken Away

So, I've been revising my rough draft of my novel. I think I'm at Chapter 8. I was doing really well and then I started getting really tired and sick. I couldn't help it, all I wanted to do was sleep. Thank goodness I went down to part-time with my company otherwise napping would be out of the question. Still fatigued and sick to my stomach almost every day, I am trying to find the motivation to start the revision on my novel once again. I'm probably only going to revise it once, have someone look over it, suggest and maybe help me fix a few things, and then off to agents and publishers it goes! I have recently found out I'm pregnant, so putting what comes first, I have been trying to get the adequate sleep I need and trying to maintain a full stomach. (Pushing sickness away is a hard trial to defeat!) Then there's school. Yes, I am also attending school on top of everything else. School comes before my book because it's my career. Writing is a hobby and I don't think I'll ever be able to make a career of it, though it would be nice. :) I haven't done much reviewing or rating because I think those I have reviewed and rated are not very happy with the way I put it out there. If you are thirteen, I don't care if I'm harsh. I'm trying to help you by giving you an honest opinion. I'm trying to help you accomplish your goal and if at thirteen you can't even spell, writing is not something you should be trying to make a career out of. A hobby, yes. A career, no. I started writing when I was ten years old, writing poems even before that age. I did well, though my ideas were aimed at a younger audience, much younger than the ones I am for today. I will update accordingly and will try to get some revision finished on my book this weekend. Very tough, as I can already feel the nausea tingling my belly. Happy writing everyone!
