More on Mountaintop Removal

Once more into the Fray we go on the topic of MTR-Mountaintop Removal, a horrendous tactic of coal-mining which explodes the peak of a mountain in order to get at the coal seams below. Guess what, folks, this is not like logging deforestation and replanting. Coal companies do NOT replace the mountain peak they just destroyed.





The Environmental Protection Agency recently approved another go at MTR, but a new paper shows how environmentally damaging this technique really is:
