Planning more trips. ;-) See you in Denver in April?

*Note1* Me and Mine:

Well... wrote something while I was at the Break Espresso. *Rolleyes*

And caught up with my personal Journal. I wrote that I feel the deep urge to do some planning after my last trip.

I figured I spent very little money. So... in the future I should plan specifically on staying at a cheap hotel or hostel to break up a trip and not stress if I get stranded by the bus, plane, whatever. It would expand the number of places I could visit (like Thermopolis where I don't know anyone) and be easier on family and friends. My cousin only has 3 small rooms for instance; I slept on the floor. Lodging is very expensive in the U.S. though, which is another reason to visit Costa Rica if I can get a cheap flight.

I got the latest issue of Poets & Writers hoping to see what workshops and conferences are coming up. Not many at this time of year. I need to get or make a calender to plot it all out. The one in Austin Texas interferes with my plans here on April 18th. *Frown* I didn't see the summer dates for Iowa Workshop yet... that's probably advisable and doable.

So... more planning. *Rolleyes*

AWP Conference in Denver, April 7-10, 2010. Click on the 2010 conference tab for details (not the 2009 one). Lots of events for poets! *Smile* Costs $185 or less.

The poet Matthew Zapruder (he'll be in Denver this spring) reads:
