My church job is starting to get really fun again. I miss Emily terribly, and I've made plans to see her on Friday night to chat and hang out, but I think I'd gotten callused in our co-directorship. It was easy for each of us to rely on the other, and we always had a little bit of control competition going, so I think we'd started to forget about innovation, creativity, and fun. I feel like I'm starting fresh. Resign from Abbott by 4/4/10. In progress and on schedule. Brand the biz(es.) In progress. I have another teacher lined up to work for me, if business picks up! Which means I need to make sure business picks up. Business: Music Instruction Books. In progress... if maybe a bit stalled. I'm running out of time. Launch one new Praise Band song per month. "I Will Rise" was awesome. Rachel, the keyboardist in my band, sang it as a solo, and the rest of us came in on the choral, "...and I hear the voice of many angels sing..." It was POWERFUL.
