Well, Gentle Readers, I've been very, very blessed today. Currently it has snowed straight through for nearly 8 hours, we have accumulation, it's too wet for Snow Angels, but it's never too wet for one more rendition of my little poem, Grandma had A Near Miss with A Reindeer. Grandma had a near miss with a Reindeer


He tried to take my Internet away


Reindeer got distracted by the Subway


And sandwich-hungry, he ran off that way





Grandma had a near miss with a Reindeer


He brought me early Christmas gifts


I couldn't wait a year this time to open


No, I had to open all today

A hoofprint on my forehead's all I saw


A snow angel shape in a snowdrift


Wearin' antler tracks instead of wings
