All that we let in

Today has been a difficult day. Jaden has been fussing and the demands at work haven't enabled me to interact with her as much. I'm dreading her shots tonight and grateful that her father has taken the night off to help with her, and on his birthday no less! I'm hoping my little girl does okay and that by tomorrow morning, the pain is just a distant memory. I'm really looking forward to celebrating my husband;s birthday this weekend with our families. I'm hoping he enjoys the attention and the break from working and is able to relax. It has been hard lately since so much of our live has changed with the baby. We are now parents who struggle to find the time to still be a couple. Some days I don't do very well with that and I need to work harder. Hopefully with warmer weather and a baby who is sleeping more and more, we can see a return to the intimacy we had sacrified.
