Trip To Florida 2010

I went to Florida to see my sister. My husband went with me and we always have a good time. We eat out everyday while we are there. My sister and I didn't grow up together so it is always special when we get to see each other. We have bonded and can never make up for the years we missed out but we are happy for little time we can spend together.

In Florida, we went to the zoo. The penguins come up to the glass window and look at you while they swim and perform. They are so cute. We saw zebras, elephants, lions, giraffes, petted stingrays that had their stingers removed. They were in a big pool of water. We also saw monkeys, an alligator, snakes{I hate them!}, a leopard, birds, hippos, just to name a few. We took a train ride around the zoo. I love animals and I enjoy seeing them.

We also went shopping. We rode a ferry across a river. We saw Ameila Island. We went to the ocean. I collected seashells and I love to see the seagulls. We have Lake Michigan in Indiana but it is a treat to see the ocean.

We saw a camaro Pace Car for the Brickyard 400 that was from 2000. As a big Nascar Fan, this was a treat! The Pace Car had been damaged on the driver side. What race car driver hit it?! Ha! Ha!

I love talking to my sister at night while sitting in her living room. We wander what life for us would have been like if we had been raised together. We will never know.

As for the plane right to and back from Florida, I hate to fly but we got there and home again. I hope my sister can fly down to see me this summer. I am glad I have her in my life.
