Slept today, but went out to the ballpark for the first time in years yestereve. Missoula lost 4-6 to Helena, but why should I care? May someday meet the Osprey players. There are a few who speak Spanish.

Olllie-the-Osprey, the mascot, was up to his typical misbehavior. Played with folks in the bleachers where I sat, mostly Brewer fans. The real ospreys were on their platform nest past the outfield. Kinda fun watching one of the parents swoop in with a fish in the talons. They have at least one chick this year.

The chatter in the bleachers reminded me how some youthful misbehavior is tolerated by a white middle-class society when it is one of their "own" but not so tolerated when others do the same...

But, you asked about me, right? Argh... no energy to misbehave or do much of anything. Maybe it was the tuna/potato/egg concoction I made and ate last night? Or the disappointment of viewing fireworks from too far afar? Or the body just soaking up rest? If I do get to England, will I sleep for a year after?

Mavis' links are helping. Travelodge is as cheap as £19 (about $29). Bus from Edinburgh, Scotland to Cardiff, Wales is 12 hours (£61.20) so most trips are much shorter, like 2 hours from Manchester airport to Sheffield (£8.80). Prices would be half if I were 60; my disability might count... In anycase can I stomach an 8 hour ferry trip across the Irish Sea? Just saying...

Maybe I need to sleep on this and dream of misbehaving at a cricket match.
