Oy!

Been a long time since I entered anything here. It's also been a long time since I've written anything.

I have good reasons and bad reasons. But I make no excuses. First and foremost, I have been busy!! I changed jobs a little over a year ago and that has been a humongous change. I love my job. It does, however, keep me busy pretty much all day. My last job didn't really keep me busy at all and I ended up doing quite a bit of writing at work. Yes, I know, shame on me. . So writing has been going a lot slower. I do have something small in the works, but my creativity has waned, been redirected.

I got an itch to try my hand at creating a board game. So much of my creativity has been directed toward that endeavor. I've got a playable prototype, but now it's the uncreative playtesting phase which is where I'm starting to slow down. I've been working on it, just not as quickly.

I went to Gen Con and that was fun but also redirected my creativity. Starcraft 2 has also been a rather large time sink. I shamelessly admit that. Halo: Reach also drops in September so...um...yeah.

But Autumn is when I traditionally find my creativity again. I have no doubt I will get back on track and, at the very least, finish my current story which I hope to get published somewhere--not really sure where; I'm a rather large novice in that department.
