This trip has overwhelmed me. Being single means there is no one to help when I get this way.

So... went to Bernice's for a cup of coffee, did the Sudoku, went home and "slept" till past noon.

The up-side: saw two full-grown fawns by the bridge this morning. Saw the path the beavers are using between two canals.

Today was a very loud block party for the Hip-Strip. Got lots of photos from the fashion show. Only a few will be good though. Lighting was a problem and there were too many people. Also, trying to take candid shots leads to candid shots with open mouths, movement, someone in front or behind... not easy. It was a beautiful day for a party though.

Quiet now.

I should be on my way to Redding at this very moment ...I'm not.
