Stella: a star is now 3 days old.

ME:

I knew there was a baby in the house... something in the chirping noises of the workers.

It was Stella ...of course. She's 3 days old. I got a pic of her with her mother Liz and another with Pepper (who could be her great-grandmother and be thrilled!).

Nothing quite like a baby in the house to brighten up a boring day (it's sunny... but you know what I mean). I mean, personally, I'm just treading water. Reading a limnology text (fresh water biology) and taking note of words and concepts like: nekton, aufwuchs, psammon. (Even spell-check can't cope with these uncommon technical words. )

I went to market last night for eggs, milk and sugar. Got bread, milk, eggs, tuna... trudged all the way home... forgot the sugar.
